    When you're little, you don't need very much from your friends. Typically they just have to live close enough to you to go to the same school. When you get older, distance becomes less of a problem…then you really know who your friends are. I guess friends can be measured by how long a distance they’re willing to travel to be with you when you need them most.
    Sometimes all you need is a little validation. :cling:
    Sometimes it’s an ear to listen without judgment, or a shoulder to hold on to when you’re too drunk to find your own way. (you thought I was gonna say “to cry on” huh?!)

    Sometimes, all you need is as simple as standing. Standing with you. Standing up for you. Understanding.
    Sometimes the distance is too great, and you will find yourself standing alone. :lonely:
    It is in these insane moments of sanity that you learn who your real friends are.

    • Mood: Disbelief
    • Listening to: ...the wrong side argue it's point.
    • Reading: too many devious comments.
    • Watching: ..and not being able to help myself.
    • Playing: for keeps.
    • Eating: spam

    Awww:( This is so true....over the yrs. I've had "friends" that say they are "friends" whom I have gone out of my way to go visit, but never take the time to come see me. I've even had a few go to Disney World which is like an hour away from me and not even stop by and say hello. Its like people just give up....and move on....and it hurts so bad. So you are forced to move on yourself, even if you don't wanna....for your own sanity, you just must.
